EN71-9玩具安全標準規定了特定玩具和玩具材料中特定危險有機化合物的遷移或含量，通過以下暴露途徑:

當使用或以可預見的方式， 考慮正常兒童行為及玩具功能和設計。
玩具中使用的包裝材料不在文件范圍內，除非它們是玩具部件或有玩耍價值。

重量不超過
口動玩具的咬嘴部件

穿戴后遮住嘴和鼻子，如：面具
繪圖用具部件作為玩具出售或者在玩具中使用，如：鉛筆末端的橡皮擦
能留下痕跡的固體玩具材料，如：固體顏料、蠟筆等.
